Regulatory Reference

In accordance with the National Customs Clearance Committee Decree (Ref: 1957/2017, dated 30 March 2017), all cargo must be palletized to support efficient customs inspection and clearance procedures.


📦 Compliance Requirements

Effective 30 June 2017, the following requirements are strictly enforced:

Mandatory Palletization

All cargo must be properly secured on standard pallets prior to customs inspection.

🚫 Clearance Restriction

Non-palletized cargo will not be cleared and may be held until compliance requirements are met.

a) Verification Protocol

  • Confirm pallet compliance during documentation and pre-clearance checks
  • Immediately flag non-compliant shipments to the Operations Team

b) Field Execution

  • Enforce palletization requirements during cargo inspections
  • Apply reference code NCC-1957 when reporting non-compliance

📢 Stakeholder Communication

  • Clients & Shippers: Ensure cargo is palletized prior to dispatch
  • Operations Teams: Update internal checklists to include pallet verification at pre-clearance stage
